Our Lab was prescribed Previcox yesterday after we took him to the vet for stiffness and pain in his rear and hips. 

He is only 1 1/2 years old and was perfectly fine and playing on Monday.  About noon on Tuesday he was limping on his right rear but was putting weight on the leg.  By yesterday he was just stiff and sore apparently all over.  Two hours and many X-rays later nothing was found to explain his pain so we were sent home with the Previcox and Tramadol for pain. 

We gave him one Previcox and this morning he was MUCH better.  The minute I had time to Google Previcox I did so and found your story.  I am so sorry about Rowdy. 

We have two Labs, best buddies who are in charge of ranch security.  This is a job they take very seriously as one never knows when the property will need defending from a  squirrel or rabbit. One just cannot explore and chase alone. 

We hardly slept last night worrying about Tucker. I have noticed him drinking lots of water today, he won't be getting any more of the Previcox.......we were told to give one chewable 227mg tablet once a day for 10 days.
