Exactly 2 days ago by Beagle/Basset mix passed away.  He was prescribed Previcox for this back pain, however he was previously sick with bronchitis.  Before Previcox he was taking medicine to clear up his cough from bronchitis and his breathing got better.  My dog seemed sort of sluggish after the bronchitis though but definitely better than he was.  But when the Previcox was prescribed he seemed to mope around and he started to throw up and stopped eating! I even tried to give him his favorite food turkey and he just put it in his mouth then spit it out and gave me a very sad look.  I did not know what was wrong at this point.  The next day I gave him another tablet and then in the after noon he vomited and had the runs/very runny stool, he also started to shake quite a bit like he was cold.  I put a blanket over him and then he seemed to be ok.  A few hours later as he got up to stretch (and presumably to walk to his water bowl), shortly after the stretch he just looked sort of pale and then fainted.  he seemed to wake up and I pet him and he looked at me...he took a few breaths and then his heart stopped beating and his pupils dilated. He died right in front of me!!!!!!!

I am so sad about this.  I try to tell my parents (I am 21 years old) but they say for me to just forget about it, its a dog, but they just don't understand, he was my family and best friend!
