"Thor"

Thank you for your site. My dog, Thor died tonight. He was four. Perfectly healthy, he had a TPLO surgery to repair his knee. The Dr. prescribed Previcox and antibiotics and opiates. He took it for two weeks, and we thought he was getting better Wednesday, but he started throwing up and we took him to the hospital.

Today, another Dr. did a three hour surgery to save him from Pancreatitis, but he died three hours later. I loved him more than life itself, and want retribution. I know I won't get it, but I have to try. They killed a healthy dog.

Thank you for time, I am sorry for your loss.

I am the wife of Steven Norlander, mother to Thor. My husband wrote you last night and I wanted to personally thank you for your kind response. Our family is obviously devastated by this chain of events, but my husband truly lost his best friend on this planet last night.

Your kind words were very consoling and I thank you for them. We also are deeply saddened by your own personal tragedy. I would very much like to be a
part of any class action that can protect others from having to go through what we all have now had to face. If you have any info how we can get involved, I would so appreciate receiving it. I am also going to go to the Merial website and obtain the form for the reimbursement.

It won't bring our beloved Thor back to us, but is will be some slight retribution for the tragic injustice that has befallen us. I hope that anyone in this situation will do that until these companies realize what they are doing to our lives.

We have human children, but our animals mean everything to us and are every bit as important to our family unit as anyone who walks on just two legs. Please know that because of people like you, we do not feel so alone and isolated in our grief. But if there is some way to protect others out there from being sucked into
this type of tragedy, we would like to further that cause.

Take care and may you heart find the peace it is seeking through all the pain, and
know we will stand behind whatever action can be taken.

Sincerely yours and in memory of Thor,

Deb N.
