Hello,

Thank you for writing this article.  My dog is at the vet right now getting x-rayed for Arthritis and having other tests done.  A couple of the drugs the vet mentioned were Previcox and Rimadyl for her discomfort.  A few years ago I researched Rimadyl when the vet prescribed it for my last dog and found many of the same stories you described, so I opted not to put her on it.  Today, when they mentioned Previcox, I turned to the internet to research.  After reading your article, I will NOT put my dog on that drug.  I will try buffered aspirin and see how she does.

I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to Rowdy.  Hopefully saving other dogs from experiencing the same fate gives you some peace.
