"Ursa" (Border Collie/mix) Hi Mel, I am deeply sorry for your loss. Rowdy was a beautiful dog. I want to thank you for posting information about your experience with Previcox. My 11 year old Border Collie Mix (Ursa) has front leg lameness. All x-ray’s were negative, and Ursa made no indication that anything hurt when manipulated. The orthopedic vet who did the consult said diagnosing front leg lameness is difficult. Long story short, he doesn’t know what’s wrong with her. She can’t take Rimadyl because her liver function test are abnormal, Meticam didn’t work, she has diabetes and is on insulin, and is also on Proin for incontinence. I was given a prescription
for Previcox. After reading about yours and others experiences, I
have decided not to fill it. She already has enough problems and I am
not taking ANY chances. I can’t thank you enough, you probably saved her
