Lost pets with I.D. are returned as soon as possible to the owner. Others without ID will be put on our website if the finder can keep them a day or so. Or if not, the proper authorities will be called to pick them up. Put your cell phone # on your dog's collar!
Unless the collar is removed, the number will always be there, unlike tags which can be caught on underbrush and torn off. We would love to help others outside of our area but keeping up with Crosby pets alone keeps us plenty busy. Why not start a Lost & Found in your area? A computer is not needed. If two or more volunteers offer their phone number as the lost & found contact number, it will work beautifully! Reuniting lost pets with their owners is well worth the time and effort put forth! |
