Lost pets with I.D. are returned as soon as we can contact the owner. Others are considered strays and the proper authorities will be called. If you love your pets, please have a method of ensuring their safe return. Put your cell phone number on their collar. Unless the collar is removed, the number will always be there, unlike tags which can be caught on underbrush and torn off. We apologize for not being able to help others outside of the Crosby, TX area locate their lost pets. Why not get something started in your area? You don't have to have a computer! Some neighborhoods have two or more volunteers whose home numbers are offered as the lost & found contact numbers. This works just as well.
